However, before doing exercise or sports, do a physical examination first, like the tread mill, retina examination, and autonomic nervous system examination to make sure which exercise or sports are suitable for you. 

不過，在運動前要先作體格檢查，例如運動心電圖，視網膜檢查，自主神經檢查等，以確定那一些運動是適合做的。 

Ms., Is there anything I have to look out for regarding my high blood pressure/hypertension?

You have to visit your doctor regularly to check your blood pressure.  Maybe you’d better learn how to measure your blood pressure yourself. Take the medicine your doctor prescribes and don’t reduce or increase the dosage without his advice. 

你要定期看醫生檢查血壓，最好自己學會量血壓！一定要按照醫師指示吃藥，千萬不可自行增減藥量。 

Avoid eating high fat foods like liver or lard and fry your vegetables with vegetable oil. Eat sufficient lean meat and tofu. Cut half the consumption of  sodium. 

少吃肝、豬油等高脂肪食物，炒菜改用沙拉油，可適量吃瘦肉、豆腐等，鹽的量要減少為原來的一半。 

Keep doing sufficient exercise or sports, such as gymnastic exercises, constitutional (walk) and stretch exercises. Remember to keep your mood free and easy, not to do things suddenly, and to stay calm so your blood pressure won’t go up. 

要持續不斷的做適量運動，如體操、散步、伸腰等；要記得維持輕鬆的心情，凡事不急不躁，心平氣和，這樣血壓才不會上升。 

You have a peptic ulcer but it’s not too serious. Take your medicine and see your doctor regularly, and be careful of your lifestyle.

你消化性潰瘍的情形還沒有很嚴重，除了按時吃藥及回診外，有些日常生活的習慣也要注意

Avoid stimulants, such as tobacco, alcohol, coffee and spices. Follow a healthy diet and don’t skip or delay any of your three meals. Don’t eat too much or too little at a time. Chew your food thoroughly and swallow it slowly.

避免刺激性食物，如：煙、酒、咖啡、調味料，養成良好的飲食習慣。三餐定時定量，細嚼慢嚥。

Also, keep a regular lifestyle and don’t get nervous. Take a thirty-minute rest before your meals. Avoid eating food that is too hot or too cold, food with tough fiber, and unboiled food. If you have some urgent situation, such as vomiting blood, severe pain in your abdomen, or if your stool is black, come back to the hospital immediately.

Don’t carry anything heavy for the next three months. That will affect the wound’s healing. If the wound gets red, swells, feels very hot or painful, or is secreting pus, please come back to the hospital immediately.

三個月內不要提重物，以免影響傷口癒合；傷口若有紅、腫、熱、痛、排膿，請立即返院處理。

If the skin around the wound is itchy, don’t scratch it, as it can infect the wound. You can pat on the wound instead.

傷口周圍皮膚癢，切勿用手抓癢，改以輕拍方式，避免感染。

你的傷口無滲出物且已貼有美容膠，所以返家後不須再換藥，只要保持傷口乾燥即可，等到約7-10天美容膠自然脫落後，再換新的美容膠。 

There is a drain in your wound, so please keep your wound dry and thegauze clean at all times. Generally speaking, change the dressing once daily, but also change it if the gauze gets wet.

想要觀察傷口情況時，請先徹底洗手，並於掀開紗布過程中，切勿碰觸傷口，傷口仍需保持無菌狀態。 

換藥時，要先用肥皂將手洗乾淨，先用無菌棉籤沾無菌生理食鹽水，將傷口上分泌物清除乾淨。 

之後再用無菌棉籤沾優碘藥水，以傷口處為中心，由內往外環形擦拭（半徑至少比傷口寬5公分），千萬不要來回反覆擦拭哦！ 

最後再用棉籤沾生理食鹽水擦拭引流管前端後，再以水溶性優碘擦拭前端一次，再用紗布包起來就可以了。 

The doctor said that the surgical wound of your peptic ulcer is healing well. Come back and see the doctor after one month. However, there are several things you have to keep in mind.

首先要禁煙、禁酒、不要喝含咖啡因飲料，如咖啡、可樂、茶……等；辛辣調味料如：胡椒、辣椒等，也要避免食用。 

Take the medicine as prescribed. Don’t take any over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, such as aspirin. 

飲食部份，要每天定時定量，用餐時細嚼慢嚥，並保持心情愉快，還要注意營養的均衡，保持規律的生活及充足的睡眠，才比較不容易復發。 

在家還是要注意觀察復發症狀，如果發現劇烈疼痛、腹脹、嘔吐、吐血、解黑便、血便、等症狀時，請趕快回來就診。 

After the abdominal surgery, avoid eating high fat foods. Some patients might have a slight diarrhea after surgery. However, most people improve in one or two weeks, so Don’t worry too much about it.

你做完腹腔手術回去之後，在飲食上要注意避免攝食高脂性食物，有些病患術後可能有輕微腹瀉現象，一般會在一至二星期改善，所以若你有輕微腹瀉的情形，不要太緊張。

Remember to take the medicine as prescribed. See the doctor again as indicated on the out-patient appointment form to remove the sutures. 

要記得按醫囑服藥，之後再依門診預約單的約診時間回院複診並拆線就可以了。

知道怎麼使用陰道塞劑嗎？要在睡前使用，使用前先用肥皂及清水充份洗淨雙手、平躺、雙腿彎曲，將塞劑放入陰道內約一食指深。

After putting the vaginal suppository in your vagina, try to avoid walking. This will prevent the vaginal suppository from falling from your vagina. The next morning, the drug will have melted and will drain from your vagina. You can put on a sanitary pad to keep clean.

塞劑放入陰道後，請儘量避免走動以免塞劑掉出，隔天早上藥物會溶化從陰道流出，可先放一護墊保持乾淨。

In order to keep dry, wear cotton panties instead of a girdle,pantyhose or tight pants.

要保持乾燥，盡量穿著棉質內褲，避免穿著束褲、褲襪或過緊的長褲。

Don’t use sanitary pads too often. You have to change them very often during  the menstrual period.

平時少用衛生護墊；月經期使用衛生棉必須勤更換。

醫師開的塞劑要繼續使用，不要以為快好了，就停止不用，若月經量多時，就暫不要使用塞劑；使用期間若陰道感覺不適，如：燒灼感、刺激感等，或病情未見好轉，再回來就診。 

更年期的婦女最常見的症狀就是熱潮紅、盜汗、陰道發炎及搔癢、頻尿、尿  失禁、皮膚乾燥、乳房萎縮而下垂、心血管疾病發生率上升、骨質疏鬆症等。

Take the estrogen as prescribed by the doctor, and regularly come back for follow up at the clinic.

醫師開給你的「女性荷爾蒙」藥物要按時吃，且要定期回診做追踨檢查。

Balance your nutrition, supplement estrogen, exercise sufficiently, and keep yourself happy and optimistic. This will help you control the menopause symptoms and go back to your normal life.

平時要注意均衡的營養、荷爾蒙補充、適當的運動及樂觀開朗的心情，這樣才能有效的控制更年期的症狀，回復平時正常的生活。

Be careful not to eat food containing too much fat, cholesterol, salt, or alcohol. Eat more plant proteins and food containing calcium, or high-fiber foods, and drink more water. 

飲食部份，要注意少吃過多脂肪、膽固醇、鹽及酒類；多吃植物性蛋白質、多攝取含鈣的食物、多攝取含高纖維的食物、多喝水質、多攝取含鈣的食物、多攝取含高纖維的食物、多喝水。

你開完子宮肌瘤手術後，記得2個月內避免提重物，抱小孩、拖地板等動作，以預防正在癒合中的腹部肌肉受損。

Avoid doing activities which will increase pelvis congestion, such as sitting for a long time, or dancing. In addition, keep yourself happy, and get sufficient sleep.

Your wound is healing little by little. You don’t have to apply any dressing after the stitches have been removed. You can change the surgical tape after taking a bath/shower. Applying surgical tape for about half a year could decrease hyperplasia of the scar. You don’t need to change the surgical tape too often. Change it only after it falls off.

If you have a severe chill or a fever, your vagina bleeds a lot or for a long time, you faint, or the wound gets red, swollen, painful, or has some abnormal secretion, come back to the hospital immediately.

如果有嚴重的發冷、發燒、大量或長時間的陰道出血、暈倒或手術傷口處有腫脹、發紅、疼痛或異常分泌物的情形時，要立即返診。

當寶寶有腹瀉的情形時，要觀察及記錄大便性質：如大便次數、大便量、顏色等，最好能帶最後一次的大便，供醫師參考。

寶寶的牛奶，可將配方奶泡淡一些（如1/2濃度）。必要時，可改用不含乳糖的嬰兒配方奶，以避免吸收不良。

寶寶大便後要維持臀部清潔，可用棉花沾溫水輕擦洗，並保持乾燥，避免寶寶得到紅臀。如果已有紅臀，皮膚乾後再用醫師開的藥膏，幫寶寶擦藥。

寶寶比較不容易自己咳痰，所以要請家長幫寶寶拍背，好讓痰較容易排出。

先讓寶寶仰躺頭高，由肩部往下拍前胸左右側，之後再將寶寶臉朝下頭高，由肩部往下拍後背的左右側。

如果遇到重要器官或骨頭明顯突出的地方，如：脊椎、前胸中央及肚子則應避免拍擊，無法用手拍擊的小地方應改用手指拍擊。

麻疹疫苗、德國麻疹疫苗及腮腺炎疫苗，則是在滿一歲時各注射一次。

腦炎疫苗，滿一歲時可以開始接種，第一年共注射二次。第一與第二次隔二星期；以後每年五、六月間加強一次。

治療後前三天患部盡量少碰水，您可以用濕毛巾擦臉，每天以消毒棉棒沾開水或雙氧水清潔乾淨後塗抹醫師開立之藥膏至少兩次。

預防方法最重要的就是要注意足部衛生，保持腳部的乾燥才能防止黴菌的滋生。因此洗完澡或流汗後，要趕快把腳及趾縫擦乾，夏天儘量穿通風的鞋子或涼鞋，不要穿不透氣的鞋。

如果突然覺得關節很痛的話就表示是急性發作，此時可以將患部抬高、冷敷、服用醫生開給你的藥，直到症狀消退或腹瀉為止。

也可以佐以鈣片或維他命D來補充鈣質。
